Rodaro ’s Rust-stopper is a smart combination of chemical rust converter and epoxy primer. It converts existing rust into a stable, protective layer and simultaneously primes the surface for overcoating.
It is suitable for all ferrous metals and sheet metals, making it ideal for maintenance, repairs, craft projects, or DIY use.The transparent formula allows precise control and visual feedback. Application is easy and quick.
After curing, it can be recoated with standard 1K topcoats. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, this rust-stopper effectively reduces further rust formation.

Application
Preparation | • Surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease and dust • Remove any loose rust or flakes before application. |
Spray Application | • Shake can thoroughly for 2 minutes. Test spray (e.g. on cardboard). • Spray distance: 10–20 cm. • Apply 3–4 light coats. • Allow flash-off time between coats. |
Drying Times | • Fully dry: approx. 24 hours • Recoatable: after 24 hours |
Further Processing | • Can be overcoated with 1K topcoats after full drying • Recoatable with itself at any time |
End of Work | • Turn can upside down and spray until only gas escapes to clear the nozzle and prevent clogging |
Coverage | • Approx. 2.0 m² per 400 ml • Depending on substrate and layer thickness |
